Chronic cough: A number of medical conditions can cause chest pain and chronic cough. In my world of infectious disease, we think about walking pneumonia, bronchitis, whooping cough and TB as some things that could present this way. There are noninfectious causes as well. You should consult with your doctor about these symtpoms.

Chest pain : Your cough needs to be evaluated ... Sometimes GERD or acid reflux disease will cause heartburn and may course chronic cough due to exposure of acid to upper respiratory tract ... Also we must exclude other causes of cough such as asthma , allergies etc ... If this continues I suggest a PCP visit and some basic work up including chest X-eat and possibly trial of PPI such as Protonix (pantoprazole) to see changes
