Your bronchial tree: May be overreacting to the steam and giving u a type of asthma attack.See a Pulmonary doc for testing.Does hot or cold water( more or less steam) make a difference?

Hi! Im a 31 year old female. Dont have any heart problems in my family. I have scoliosis. Sometimes (every six months or so) when I take a hot shower my chest feels super tight and it feels like I cant breathe. After a couple seconds the feeling supsides.
