Yes: Eyelid laxity, whether it is pulling away from the eyeball (ectropion), sagging (increased scleral show) or turning inward (entropion) can all be evaluated and suggestive surgical management can be discussed by an oculoplastic surgeon. Bags , festoons, eyelid droopiness, & blemishes, brow position and eyelid function, are all evaluated, which expands the surgical considerations.

Yes: It can be fixed. Usually due to aging and lower lid laxity from lateral canthal tendon dehiscence. Thyroid eye disease can also cause lid retraction with scleral show. The best person to correct this would be a fellowship trained oculoplastic surgeon
