Total, HDL or LDL?: There are several components to cholesterol (lipid) panel. Total cholesterol, of course. But if it's 137, that's really good! LDL is bad cholesterol. We used to stratify our LDL goals based upon heart disease risk such that we aimed for less than 160 if low risk, less than 130 if moderate risk, less than 100 if high risk w/optional goal less than 70. So what's your risk?HDL greater than 60 is good

That sounds good.: Granted, I'd have to know what the three types of cholesterol are in your profile, but as a total that sounds pretty low. Low in a good way that is.
