Just got blood work back. triglycerides was 198(high) and good cholesterol was 25(low). what does that mean and what should i do to fix it??

Need more info: Lab results need to be interpreted in the context of clinical situation and the doctor who ordered the test is generally in the best position to do that. If you are overweight, even slightly, lose weight. Reduce your intake of carbohydrates and saturated fats. Start exercising at least 30 minute/day 5days/week. Gradually increase the intensity of exercise.

Vasculopathic.: Unfortunately, having a low HDL and high triglyceride count does put you at risk for the development of heart disease and cerebrovascular disease. These need to be corrected. Regular cardiovascular exercise, proper diet, don't smoke, keep your weight in check and lost weight if you're overweight. Fish oil and Niacin supplementation.
