Tendon irritation: Ganglion cyst represents the traumatic effect of the wrist tendon pulling thru the tendon sheath. If most of the fluid is out, the rubbing effect of tendon movement can cause some pain. Its more effective to do the aspiration and inject several cc kenalog (triamcinolone).
