In some cases yes...: If you have iron deficiency then iron may help. High doses of Folic Acid (5-10 mg/day) has been shown to help the familial form of RLS & RLS in pregnancy. Magnesium is also often helpful- i recommend magnesium taurate, glycinate or citrate in doses of 200 mg morning and bedtime. Sometimes: Some studies link RLS to certain nutrient deficiencies. Taking a general multivitamin is safe for most people. It is also helpful to make sure you are eating plenty of fruits & vegetables and staying well hydrated with fluids that do not contain alcohol or caffeine. Blood tests can reveal iron, magnesium, B12 or folate (folic acid) deficiencies.

Yes: B12, folate (folic acid) and if iron deficient, iron. Have levels checked. Making levels suprahigh are not helpful. Magnesium for leg cramps which is not rls.
