Examples: Hi. Endocrine signaling examples are insulin at its receptor on liver, muscle, & fat cells. Paracrine signaling examples are communication between alpha, beta, & delta cells in the islets of Langerhans in the pancreas (the endocrine pancreas). Autocrine signaling examples are less well known to most people. The classic examples are cytokine signaling in various cells of the immune system.
