There are a number: Requip (ropinirole) (ropinarole) and pramipexol (mirapex) are the main two medications prescribed for rls. Firstly, the diagnosis should ideally be made by a formal sleep study, and a number of conditions, including iron deficiency, should be ruled out, since treating underlying conditions may reduce or eliminate the symptoms.
