Can you list the pathological conditions responsible for high levels of serum amylase?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sure: Are the mechanisms okay? If you feel well, usually your amylase is just tagged with an immunoglobulin that slows its clearance. If your kidneys aren't working well, you don't lose it fast enough. If your pancreas is even a little bit hurt, or your salivary glands, you get some in your bloodstream. Even morphine can make this happen. How do you FEEL?
