WHY???: Do you mean that you hope to control eczema without any cortisone cream? Soaking in water, then application of emollient (ceramide is best) is standard. For the face we use calcineurin inhibitors such as tacrolimus ointment instead of steroids. Otherwise topical steroids are the most important therapy. They are very safe and very effective. What is your problem?
