A member asked:

Is there anything for eczema if the steroid creams don't work all the way , and it comes back right away?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Maybe not eczema: If the rash comes right back, it may not be eczema, but an allergy to something touching the skin. Until the offending chemical is identified, and exposure avoided, the rash will continue to recur. Patch testing can identify the allergen chemical causing the rash. These tests are usually done by a dermatologist, not an allergist.
