Maybe not eczema: If the rash comes right back, it may not be eczema, but an allergy to something touching the skin. Until the offending chemical is identified, and exposure avoided, the rash will continue to recur. Patch testing can identify the allergen chemical causing the rash. These tests are usually done by a dermatologist, not an allergist.
