A little: The top number (systolic) is a bit high if that is consistent. Take it at different times of the day for a while. If it stays that high on average, see your doc - easily treated if need be! Be well!

Yes: Normal range is 100-140/60-80mm of hg depending on age. For your age 140/80 should be the upper limit of normal. If BP readings remain > this number for more than a month, then you need to talk to your Dr. for proper Rx. Also if you have fluid retention, obesity, family History of heart disease or diabetes, you may seek the Rx sooner. Try to restrict salt and exercise, and loosing weight will help
