I have a painful small bump on my right thenar eminense. it looks like its in a vein but i'm not sure. when i touch it i feel a pulse. what is this?

Possible aneurysm: If you have a pulsatile lump on the thenar eminence, this may be an aneurysmal dilatation of the superficial branch of the radial artery as it anastomosis with the ulnar artery. We did advise that you be seen by a hand orthopedic surgical specialist.
