Not likely: What is exactly that you feel with your GERD- is it heartburn or epigastric/ stomach pain? It is highly atypical for GERD to be worsened by walking. What I am trying to say is that walking might be a confounding variable here. Do you usually eat and walk after, or sometimes eat at the end of the day after walking a lot?
