Not likely: Is there a specific place that bleeds or it's generalized? Can you see anything on the skin? It can be anything from a fungal/parasite infection to a skin condition- psoriasis specifically, less likely cancer. You definitely have to abstain from scratching since this is feeding in the condition. Ultimately, consider letting your PCP examine your scalp.

SeborrheicDermatitis: is a common skin condition that affects the scalp. Stress, fatigue and sleep deprivation are common causes. dermatitis. There’s no cure for this condition, but it is possible to get it under control by eliminating the cause. If concerned, see your PCP for complete examination.
