Because it is true: Our bodies react to stress w/ cellular preparation for flight or fight. All systems are affected. Energy is released to muscles, circulation and respiration peaks. It's harder to run or fight w/ full gut/bladder - so they are voided. Released hormones are irritating if exposure is chronic and brain chemicals too are altered.
