Very possible: It is very possible that you father could have sinusitis. If he is having pain and swelling under the eyes, it would be wise to have him be seen by a physician quickly.

Multiple symptoms: Could be a viral head cold and/or bacterial infected sinuses. Please notify his General Physician and make an appointment to have him evaluated.
