Infectious disease: Although blood bourne pathogens can be transmitted via blood transfusion, blood products are thoroughly screened prior to administration. If you are not having symptoms, i would not worry.

Need diagnosis: It should be more important to determine why you are anemic. Blood transfusion by themselves are very safe and extremely unusual to have problems with them. I recommend that you discuss with your physician as to the reason for anemia.
