2nd opinion: I would agree that if you are questioning the treatment plan it would be wise to get a second opinion... In that way you will be comfortable proceeding with your treatment. But that 2nd opinion needs to be from someone who can see you and examine you, not by a panel who has no knowledge of your oral condition. Call another dentist for an appointment.

Save money: Have your teeth straightened by a qualified orthodontic specialist before having your final restorations done. That way the best possible platform on which to do restorative treatment can be created, allowing the restorations to be more serviceable and more long lasting. Least expensive approach is to do ortho first, then you won't have to pay for restoration replacements as often.

See an orthodontist: Get your educated opinion relying on orthodontists’ expertise, which comes from their extensive education. After graduating from dental school, orthodontists get 2-3 more years of education just in orthodontics at an accredited orthodontic residency program. Consult an orthodontist for your life, your health, your happiness, your smile.
