I've had my smear test (my first) and it has come back as cin3 with features suggestive of invasion. i'm petrified. does this mean i have cancer?

Not necessarily: Please follow-up with your gyn as recommended. Cin3 is not cancer. The suggestion of invasion is worrisome, i agree, but it does not prove you have cancer. Your doctor will most likely recommend a procedure to remove a bit more of your cervical tissue for analysis/treatment. Depending on what they see, they will make further recommendations (you may or may not need additional testing/treatment).
