Paraneoplastic: Paraneoplastic syndrome is a disease or symptom that is the consequence of the presence of cancer in the body. So, if your panel is positive-depending on the sensitivity and the specificity of the panel- your doctor needs to make sure to look for presence of occult cancer in you.
