Yes: You need to stop it and seek a GI evaluation. I personally never prescribe any NSAID long term without also prescribing a proton pump inhibitor to help minimize GI risk.

Yes: Meloxicam can cause several gastrointestinal side effects including heartburn, nausea, gastric pain, peptic ulcers, G.I. Bleeding, constipation and diarrhea. I would stop it for a week or so and take tylenol (acetaminophen) or other non-nonsteroidal pain relievers. If nausea stops your doctor can order an alternative.
