Dysautonomia - MVP : Possibly due to low resting energy requirements. You may have dysautonomia which is associated with mitral valve prolapse syndrome - neither are usually life threatening but both cause patients anxiety about their symptoms. Read dr. Richard hoffman's book on mvp on amazon.Com. Increase fluid intake, try magnesium supplements.

Maybe: Although the contrary is more the rule: the more you exercise and become fit, the lower your heart rate (and that is good) . If you have uncontrolled hypertension, that is the most likely reason for slow hr (reflex mechanism) you probably need to control BP better and exercise more. That will also be beneficial for your depression. Do not measure hr unnecessarily, if you don't have symptoms.
