Recurring staph infections (6 to be exact) in my right middle finger, over the last 5yrs. it goes away with treatment, but always returns. mrsa?

Is it Staph?: Have you ever been cultured to be sure it is staph? If you had the infection cultured it would been determined whether you had MRSA or not. Given the recurrences and the specificity of the location of the recurrences you may need to get it evaluated that there is not any foci to cause the recurrences as that is not typical.
