Anxiety or DM: Anxiety can sometimes lead to frequent urination (small amounts) lots of gu conditions can do this. Occasionally diabetes can escape detection initially. Specific gravity test of urine is low with diabetes incipidis. Type ii dm can present with frequent urination and with a 12 hour fast you might have a normal glucose. A glucose tolerance test or a hemaglobin a1c test is sometimes ordered.
