Why am i getting canker sores all the time? i get them in the insides of my lip, on my gum, in the throat area/back of tongue, and on my tongue.

No solid answer: Since you are "prone" towards canker sores the best thing you can try to do is ease their pain. You can take Acyclovir regularly to help but it does require a prescription. Lysine might help and you can get that at a health food store. Try to reduce your stress, and if you are a smoker...Quit. See if there are any other habits you have. But i bet the best thing you can do is reduce stress.

They can be caused by citrus fruits, trauma, vitamin deficiency, emotional stress, and other factors. Treatment usually involves pain killers and topical anesthetic ointments are helpful. Severe cases should be managed by a general dentist or oral surgeon.
