Check for blood clot: When you immobilize the extremities, you can have dependent edema(fluid accumulation due to gravity). However the more worrisome problem will be blood clot in the veins(deep venous thrombosis) which put you at risk to blood clot in the lungs. Need to go to your doctor asp?

Fx complication...: After suffering a fracture it is definitely common to have swelling around the area when the injury is located. However one very worrisome occurrence is the possibility of getting blood clots after an injury like that which are very dangerous. I think you should go to the ed and get seen immediately due to the extent of the swelling of your leg esp. That long after event.
