Be mindful: Surgical adhesions are not infrequent, and can lead to small bowel obstruction. Many cases resolve without surgical intervention, which is good! the more surgeries you undergo the more you develop new scar tissue. If you have severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting and suddenly are no longer passing gas or bms, to er. If not, small but more frequent meals, high fiber, lots of fluids.
