Now or ever ?: I'll assume you are referring to the pap test. This standard measure for detecting cervical cancer is not based on your present level of sexual activity. If you were ever sexually active in the past, your chance of acquiring one of the hpv viruses that could lead to cervical cancer decades later are high. Discuss this with your obgyn.
