A member asked:

What tests should someone do who has been sexually active?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sexually active : If multiple partners or if a single partner may have other contacts sexually, you should be tested for symptoms of vaginitis or genital sores with cultures, or IgG/IgM blood testing, and for HIV if a partner is "new", but HIV testing may not be positive if acquired for one or two months after exposure.
