Both are good, but..: a lot depends on your interest. Which one are you going to keep up? Personally, I have a hard time jogging by myself, but kickboxing is usually done in classes, so that motivates me to work harder. If you are a good self motivator, then I would say both can give you intense cardio. Kickboxing uses more muscle groups however, and of course intensity depends on how fast you are jogging!
