Aerobic and anaerobi: All type of exercise will increase your fitness. If you want to increase your endurance, aerobic exercise is usually recommended. But if you want to increase your muscle mass ( muscle hypertrophy ) weight lifting and increase repetition is probably the best exercise. Ideally you should combine aerobic and anaerobic exercise.
