Can you tell me if they numb your gum, how long does it last?

Local Anethesia: Usually local dental anesthesia lasts between 1 1/2 - 2 hours. There are both shorter acting ones and longer acting ones. The exact length of time will depend on with local anesthetic is used, how much is used, and your own bodies ability to metabolize the anesthetic. It is not the same for every person.

Half life 6 hours : If Lidocaine with epinephrine was administrated, your lips and tongue will be numb for 3-6 hours from the time of injection. Hope it helps.
