Absolutely.: Although the edward's procedure is actually quite minor, dental anesthetic will be applied and some type of analgesics will be recommended after along with warm salt water rinses.

Absolutely: The procedure is akin to having a paper cut around the roots of your teeth...Annoying. Your periodontist specialist will numb up the area before doing the fiberotomy, and give you post-procedure instructions to keep you comfortable. It's easier than getting braces on, and you already survived that. Good luck!
