What do you advise if i stole lidocaine & prilocaine cream from the dermalogist office, and put them on my gum?

Symptom vs. cause: By applying Lidocaine ; prilocaine cream will ameliorate the gums pain. However if you just treat the symptoms you will at best get temporary relief. If you treat the cause, you can get rid of the problem and the symptoms. Remember, without a diagnosis, its just a guessing game. Rec.: see your dentist for definitive diagnosis and treatment.
