A member asked:

What to do if i have a disease called macular degeneration in my eye do i need inject of avast for the rest of my life?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Two types: 1. Dry: areds vitamins, tobacco cessation. 2. Wet: intravitreal injections of anti-vegf molecules like avastin, lucentis, (ranibizumab) or Eylea (these injections may be life-long). You must see a retina specialist as soon as possible to determine the type of macular degeneration you have and the need for treatment.
