NSAIDs, heat: Usually 10-14 days is adequate rest after laparoscopic appendectomy. You may still have some residual soreness,but the wounds will be adequately healed. Use NSAIDS ( aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen) and heat for local muscular tenderness relief at the trochar sites. Any questions, speak to your surgeon. Good luck.

Check with your MD: Is not unusual to have slight pain in the initial post operative period , in uncomplicated case will subside in next few days, non vigorous office type of work can be resumed when you are free from pain , but need to check with your surgeon, as no one tell you with out examination.
