A member asked:

What do you advise if i had a hysteroscopy performed to remove 4 polyps, 2 in the cervix, and 2 in the uterus. now i am thinking?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Polyps: Unless you are trying to conceive, or are having continuing bleeding, polyps are not dangerous, and do not require additional treatment. Polyps are very rarely malignant, and grow from the mucous layer of the uterus (the lining). Ask your gyn provider about "endometrial ablation" if you are having bleeding problems.
