Go get checked: there are many possibilities, however it is just impossible to say much without examining you. you would need to see your MD and get it checked. you can have benign lymph node enlargement due to infection, inflammation, autoimmune etc or could be something else more serious like cancer. if the lump does not go away after 2- 3-weeks or so or if it gets bigger - go to see your MD.

Very unlikely, check: Many of us have various lumps and bumps that have been present for a long time and we're not aware of them, until something happens to bring our attention there -- someone else points it out, you bruise the area, you have pain. We always assume it's NEW, but may have been there a long time. Bumps on the collarbone may be extra bone, muscle, scar, or a lump in the fat or skin. See a Dr. for exam
