Therapy: therapy/counseling can help you work through it. see a psychiatrist who may be able to help you further.

Nightmare Disorder, : formerly "Dream Anxiety Disorder" = repeated nightmares that impact work, social or other functions. Anxiety is the most common cause, following an adverse major life event in 60% of cases. Other causes = medications, street drugs, xs alcohol intake, eating just before bed, sleep apnea & parasomnias. See your PCP for evaluation & referral to psychiatrist, psychologist & if needed, a sleep lab.
