A member asked:

What to do if i'm having terrible back pain?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Give it time: Low back pain usually improves within 1-2 weeks, but it depends on the circumstances. If your pain has persisted for greater than 1-2 weeks despite conservative management I would see your physician. You would also want to see your physician sooner if you have any fever, chills, night sweats, or bowel/bladder changes.
