See oculoplastic Dr.: There's more than cosmetic issues involving having your eyelids done. The eyelids has to be evaluated along with your medical conditions, and other factors to determine why you might feel you need to have them surgically corrected. So make an appointment with an oculoplastic surgeon it two or three, and get the different opinions to make the best decision.

Full eye exam.: There are surgical and nonsurgical options to having your eyelids or eyebrows lifted depending on the extent of the problem. You should have a thorough eye exam performed prior to the procedure to make sure you do not have a medical condition that could be contributing to the problem such as thyroid eye disease or myasthenia gravis. I suggest making an appointment with an ophthalmologist first.
