Identify trigger 1st: While treatment with topical steroid creams is helpful for most allergic rashes, one must be careful with prolonged use especially on the face/eyelids. With the help of a dermatologist or allergist, find the trigger, so that it can be avoided. Consider products that touch this part of the face such as eye glasses, hat bands, etc. A patch test may be helpful in the diagnosis.
