Calorie dense foods: Eat healthy foods that are high in calories. Eat six meals per day. Work on strength training to build your large muscle groups. Work out with heavier weights with fewer repetitions. Sleep at least 8 to 9 hours per night. Hydrate well with water.

High Protein complex: Carbs and healthy fat (fish and plant based fat) is what i would recommend. If you want to put on "healthy" weight, you need to build more muscle. So protein supplements with added 10 grams of sugar and some fruit right after work-outs will help build muscle. I suggest getting your metabolic rate checked and based on that, go on a high calorie zone type diet which is healthy and high protein.

High Protein & Carb: Diet is what body builders use to gain weight (carb loading). I suggest you eat at least 100 grams of lean protein per day (lean meats, eggs, cheese and whey protein shakes) as well as at least 150 grams of complex carbs (fruits/veggies, whole grain starch) in 3 meals and 2 snacks.Eat some protein right after work-out plus 15 grams of sugar (milk chocolate for example).Numbers vary based on weight.
