1-Lifestyle, 2-Meds: Lifestyle changes can be a powerful way to treat depression. Research shows that regular exercising (vigorously if your doctor approves) helps. Meditation has also been shown to help for some people. Try asking your parents to take you to a therapist, especially a cognitive-behavioral therapist. There are many different antidepressant medications safe for minors but you should talk to your doctor.
