Can a sports injury to the nose as a child effect it's shape?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: The nasal root in a kid is bone while the front is cartilage.A kid can suffer a break at the root of the nose & or develop a blood pocket inside the wall of the mid line nasal septum.Degree of injury is related to impact forces & surfaces involved.Distortion can occur. An evaluation by your dr is the best way to sort out the issue.
