Consult costs: Every doctor has different consult fees that vary with geographic location, local competition, etc. Many doctors offer free consultations. In NYC where I am, consult fees can be as high as $400.00. You might consider a video consult here on HealthTap as an economical way to get some of your preliminary questions answered.
