You don't need-: -to do them, but if you are I feel that the best is sets of 3, 15 curls, then do the same with push ups. Back to curls, alternate for 3 sets of each. Ideally you should not be able to finish the 3'rd set. If you are able to,add weight to the curls, and elevate your legs to make the push-ups harder. As you get stronger, more weight & elevation.
