Max-heart rate 4 age: Varies. If you are exercising or if it's just racing for no reason. A rule of thumb for max hr for exercise is 80% of 220-age. If you're having resting tachycardia, best to have it checked out. Could be something that needs attention! sounds like you're exercising and getting your hr up. As fitness improves, your hr will get lower with exercise tolerance.
